From mid-June 2025 SPS began rehearsing a selection of music from the choir’s existing library including works by Haydn and arrangements of popular songs, whilst also enjoying singing through one of the seasons from A Season to Sing each week ready for the Come & Sing in August 2025
In January 2025 SPS started working on ‘A Season to Sing’ which the choir co-commissioned from composer Joanna Forbes L’Estrange. The Birmingham premier of this work was given by SPS on Saturday 14 June 2025 in St Francis Church Bournville. More…
